The role you will play:
- Collaborate with the Product Lead and Art Director to create characters, buildings, environments, and other props.
- Ensure assets maintain a cohesive style as determined by the project's stakeholders.
- Ensure that assets adhere to gameplay and technical constraints.
Required qualifications:
- A strong portfolio showcasing 3D art skills and a high level of artistic creativity.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience, demonstrating ability to work with a broad range of subjects and styles.
Required skills:
- Expert knowledge of Blender and proficiency in Photoshop.
- Ability to create both characters and environments using low-poly and high-poly techniques.
- Strong 3D texturing skills.
- Good understanding of human anatomy, with a keen eye for form, shape, structure, and silhouette in modeling and texturing.
- Good understanding of architecture and the ability to create game-ready building models.
- Familiarity with the game development cycle.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills to meet project deadlines.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to accept criticism and implement feedback effectively.
Bonus points:
- Experience working on published mobile games is a significant advantage.
- Ability to animate environments, props, characters, and creatures.
- Competence in animating characters and other game props.
- Experience integrating and animating 3D assets in Unity.
- Self-motivation, strong communication skills, and a great team player attitude.
- Passion for video games and a broad understanding of video game culture.
