Our client, a leader in the contact management industry is actively looking for an Avaya Automation Engineer. The Automation Engineer is primarily responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of Avaya Automation products. Specifically, Avaya Experience Portal, Proactive Outreach Manager, Callback Assist, and Dynamic Self Service.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in project kickoffs, status meetings, and cutovers as a product SME.
- Assist in creating and maintaining deliverables (drawings, spreadsheets, documentation)
- Participating in planning implementation and upgrade activities with Project Management.
- Remotely accessing customer sites.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining Avaya Automation products.
- Assist with various administrative deployment activities (OVA Deploys, Security Certificates)
- Participate in after-hours cutover activities.
- Performing Moves/Adds/Changes.
- Provide knowledge transfers for system users.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance or guidance for Day 2 support team if escalated to.
- Assist in Pre-Sales discussions regarding best practices and how to meet customer requirements. Participate in mutually agreed-upon cross-training opportunities.
Preferred Certifications:
- ACSS - 3305 Avaya Experience Portal with Proactive Outreach Manager
Required Experience/Skills:
- Experience integrating with SMS gateways.
- Experience implementing and supporting speech software such as Nuance & LumenVox.
- Experience implementing or supporting the following Avaya products. o Avaya Experience Portal
- Proactive Outreach Manager
- Callback Assist
- Avaya Breeze
- Survey Assist
- Dynamic Self Service
- Avaya Control Manager
- Familiarity with command line and Linux operating systems.
