PROJECT, TEAMS, REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES
What are we looking for?
Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud (creating, deploying and managing production system on Azure cloud, dealing with production issues, creating and managing monitoring and alerting).
Background in systems administration, infrastructure maintenance and monitoring.
Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo…)
Hands-on experience with Git and Git branching strategies.
Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform and/or Pulumi knowledge is a plus). Experience with configuration tools (like Ansible) is a plus.
You have working experience with containers orchestration (experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferable).
Microsoft Azure Certification is a plus (Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect).
Experience with deploying Java and Spring Boot applications is a plus.
What will you do?
You will design and implement tools required to automate, deploy, manage and monitor Azure Cloud-based applications, environments and partner with developers in CI/CD activities.
On this journey, you will have the chance to learn and grow your experience with tools like Azure DevOps, AKS and Terraform; Create Azure Cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code, deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines, constantly improving process using PowerShell and other automation tools, to take the next step and dive into serverless with Azure Functions and design event-driven DevOps processes.
Our projects & stack: DevOps engineer is part of the team responsible for managing cloud infrastructure in Azure using different tooling depending on client needs. We strongly prefer infrastructure-as-code and related tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Azure CLI, Powershell). Solutions are usually based on Azure App Service or container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). We prefer Azure DevOps as an automation and CI/CD tool to build and deploy the infrastructure required for applications hosted in the cloud. Our projects follow a standard setup with three environments, having separate environments for development and testing, user acceptance, and production.
Our teams: As DevOps Engineers, we play the key role of bringing together software development and IT operations. Depending on the project, our teams consist of frontend and backend developers, test automation engineers, DevOps engineers, and a delivery manager (scrum master), while the product owner is client-side. We use Scrum as a framework for project management – we hold daily standup meetings where every team member can have a say.
Your position in the organization: This position will be a part of one of our IT Operations departments in Serbia and your department manager and technical team lead would be there to guide you and support your career development.

Private health insurance
All Niners have additional UNIQA private insurance – MedUniqa as soon as they join Levi9. This private insurance is fully paid by Levi9 and is renewed annually. Also, there is a possibility of additional insurance for a family member. Our insurance package covers 5.000 € costs. The Uniqa package also includes insurance against the consequences of an accident, 24 hours a day during the agreed duration of insurance, without territorial restrictions.

Vacation days loyalty program
