Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade data solutions using Microsoft Azure Data Fabric and related Azure data services.
Architect, develop, and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines (batch & real-time).
Configure, integrate, and operate components such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Event Hub, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Databricks, and other platform services.
Ensure data governance, lineage, quality, and metadata management within the Data Fabric ecosystem.
Work directly with clients to clarify requirements, propose architecture approaches, and provide technical guidance.
Implement security best practices including data encryption, access control, data masking, PII protection, and compliance alignment.
Perform performance tuning, cost optimization, and scalability improvements across the data landscape.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data platform issues across environments.
Contribute to internal standards, best practices, and continuous improvement of data engineering processes.
Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, architecture, and product teams to deliver reliable data-driven solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proficient English (C1 or higher) - mandatory for client-facing communication.
Proven hands-on experience as Azure Data Engineer / Data Fabric Engineer in enterprise environments.
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Fabric and deep understanding of how its components work together.
Strong expertise with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Event Hub/Service Bus, Databricks, CosmosDB, and related services.
Excellent understanding of ETL/ELT design, streaming data architectures, distributed data processing, integration patterns, and automation.
Solid experience with Python, SQL.
Understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, lineage, metadata management, and security policies.
Experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-efficient data architectures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data-centric challenges.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to work directly with customers.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying problems and proposing solutions.
