The IT hub in Serbia is responsible for the development and maintenance of the back-office system, mobile apps, front-office apps, customer portals, data warehouse and the CI/CD processes to support high-quality deliveries.
About the Role
As a Backend Developer in the IT project and resource team you will be working with APIs to communicate with Mobile application and Web Portals. Together with your team, you will face varying technical challenges, working with their complex insurance system and its many integrations.
As a person, you like to work dynamically with a team of developers where you collaborate to improve the product while having a lot of fun along the way. You enjoy a broad role, facing the challenges as they come with a lot of interface with team members and stakeholders. Your solution-oriented attitude makes you face technical challenges head-on, finding new ways to reach your goal.
Your key tasks will be to:
- Working with APIs
- Understanding business needs
- Creating optimal solutions
- Writing technical specifications
- Implementation according to previously created technical specification
- Programming according to established code standards
- Testing developed code
- Work according to SCRUM methodology
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 3 years of experience working with classic .NET framework (C# or VB.Net, WebApi, ASP.Net, .Net Core)
- Experience in developing web APIs
- Experience in writing Unit testing
- SQL Server and T-SQL
- GIT source control
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to communicate directly with business
- Periodical business trips to our foreign offices
- English verbal and writing skills
- It is advantageous if you are familiar with Angular or JavaScript frameworks
