About the Backend Developer position

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud, Kubernutes, and a strong background in real-time applications and Websockets. The ideal candidate should also posses some experience in React and AI technologies.

Backend Developer responsibilities are:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Implement and optimize real-time applications with a focus on performance and responsiveness.
• Work with Google Cloud services including not limited to Compute Engine, Cloude Storage and Cloud Functions.
• Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement and maintain secure data storage and access protocols.
• Ensure high performance and availability of backend services.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to the team's technical knowledge base.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues.

Backend Developer requirements are:

• 2+ years' experience of working in Backend Developer position.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of real-time applications and WebSocket.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform services.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies, especially React.
• Basic Knowledge of AI technologies is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a realted field.
• Since most of our team is around Asia and Eastern Europe, we require someone within GMT+2 to GMT+7.
