What are we looking for:

We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure for pension fund and financial services management platform based in Italy. You will take full ownership of infrastructure architecture, ensure scalability, security, and high availability, and work closely with software engineering and operations teams to maintain and evolve a robust DevOps pipeline.

Cloud/DevOps Architect

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure architectures tailored for financial applications
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensure performance and reliability
• Develop and maintain Helm charts for application packaging and deployment
• Create and manage Ansible playbooks for configuration management and automation
• Set up and manage monitoring/alerting dashboards using Grafana and related tools
• Implement and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, ...)
• Ensure infrastructure security compliance with industry standards and Italian regulations
• Write robust Bash, Python, or Go scripts for automation and system management
• Perform infrastructure cost optimization, scaling strategies, and disaster recovery planning
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to streamline deployment workflows.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Architect or Senior DevOps Engineer
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible
• Solid scripting experience in Bash, Python, or Go
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Familiarity with infrastructure security principles (TLS, network segmentation, secrets management, etc.)
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Experience working in highly regulated industries (finance,  etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in English 

Pluses:

• Experience with infrastructure cost optimization
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture
• Exposure to IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
