About the role

The start date for the role will be January 12th.

Join N Family Club and build the data foundations for the UK's highest quality nursery group. You'll rebuild our transformation layer from scratch, establish professional data engineering practices, and enable data-driven decisions across 48+ nurseries.

What You'll Do

• Rebuild our transformation layer using dbt (you'll help us implement this)
• Create reliable, tested, documented data models across all business domains
• Work with Redshift data warehouse
• Establish data quality monitoring and testing frameworks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Document data definitions and business logic
• Own and maintain transformation layer long-term

What You'll Bring

• 4-6+ years experience in analytics engineering or similar role
• Expert SQL skills and data modelling experience
• dbt experience essential
• Git version control proficiency
• Redshift or similar data warehouse experience (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Ability to translate business needs into data models
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Passion for data quality and engineering best practices
