Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to help design and build our next-generation cloud based Data Platform. As part of a collaborative and cross-functional team, you’ll develop scalable pipelines, robust infrastructure, and analytics-ready datasets that drive decisions and innovation across the business.

You’ll work in a modern, cloud-native environment embracing AWS tools, ELT workflows, and DataOps principles. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of hands-on experience who is ready to increase their impact and grow toward a senior-level contributor role.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate in an agile team to design, build, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable data pipelines
• Build workflows for ingesting, transforming, and integrating data using modern cloud-native tools
• Model datasets for analytics, reporting, and operational insights (data lakes and warehouses)
• Implement data quality checks, observability, and clear documentation for owned pipelines
• Work with AWS services such as Redshift, S3, Glue, QuickSight, and RDS
• Automate processes and apply CI/CD practices to improve the efficiency and consistency of data delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions
• Stay current with evolving best practices in cloud data architecture, governance, and scalable design

Who You Are:

• A hands-on Data Engineer or BI Developer with 2–4 years of relevant experience
• A strong problem-solver who enjoys turning raw data into well-structured, actionable insights
• A team player with clear communication skills and a strong sense of ownership
• Passionate about data quality, continuous improvement, and modern data engineering practices
• Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative and fast-moving engineering culture

What You’ll Need:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and query optimization
• Experience working with at least one cloud data platform (e.g., AWS Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., dbt, Glue, Informatica IICS, or similar)
• Familiarity with BI tools like QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau
• Basic scripting or programming experience (e.g., Python)
• Understanding of Git and version control workflows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Data Mesh principles or domain-oriented data ownership
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices or infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Understanding of data observability, lineage, or quality monitoring tools
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps-oriented environments
