What we’re looking for

Massive Rocket is looking for someone to join the team remotely for a client-facing Data Integration Consultant role. You will join our team of technical Customer Data and CRM experts to help serve some of the most exciting and fastest growing businesses in the world.

Responsibilities

A lot of what we do can be generally summarized in two lines of work:

• Design and bring to life efficient data architectures that move data between systems. This means that we will understand the necessary data flows that need to be put in place and have the ability to make it happen. It’s usual to be involved in projects that require hands-on work like: Building serverless functions (e.g AWS Lambda) to move data between the cloud and other systems, configure CDP systems (think Segment, mParticle, Rudderstack, Hightouch) to ingest and forward data, build scripts that will push data through APIs to various systems. We will typically revert to Python or Javascript for coding but any language that the system accepts is good.

• Link everything we do to the Business Case. The way work is very Use Case driven, meaning that we always know the final use case for the data that we are moving through the systems, be that for customer engagement communications and personalization, better segmentation in the analytics tools or Customer Service systems. We are expected to be able to prioritize our tasks and work to meet the use case requirements.

That’s good, but bullet points are easier to digest

• Work with customers to help them translate functional requirements into technical requirements - building and executing on the use case!

• Guiding clients through their data implementations from Strategy to Execution

• Technical Architecture Design

• Technical Platform Configuration and Integration

• Creating rapid prototypes and concept validation

• Data planning – you will be responsible for designing and developing data plans for customers in different environments.

• Understand Technical Integrations via Mobile SDKs, APIs, …

• Data management and imports

Technical capabilities:

• Coding in a language typically used in data (preferably Python or Javascript)

Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with the deployment process one or many of the following technologies: Segment, mParticle, Tealium, Batch, Braze, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Leanplum, Airship, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Marketing Cloud, Snowflake, Tableau, …

You will be expected to technically understand how these technologies work, design an integration plan and do the technical integration in customer environments.
