Ready to work on multiple different projects simultaneously? Love AI? We need you!

Our 2-person data science team builds everything from FastAPI microservices on AWS to sophisticated PowerBI dashboards (M, DAX, incremental refresh, RLS) to AI agents that do some magic.

This role IS perfect for you if:

• You LOVE using AI to accelerate your work (OpenAI APIs are our best friend)
• You can context-switch between multiple projects without losing your mind
• You're eager to learn whatever technology the project needs
• You are a brainiac and use your brain to figure things out on your own

This role is NOT for you if:

• You think "I'm a data scientist, I don't do PowerBI"
• You refuse to use AI tools because you're afraid of getting "rusty"
• You need Jira tickets and detailed specifications to function
• You can only handle one project at a time
• You are task-focused only - we need strategic problem solvers
• You have technology purists - "I only do X" won't work here
• You are an AI-skeptic - we integrate AI everywhere and it's awesome

What you'll actually be doing

Current active projects include:

• Maintaining applications with AI features, FastAPI microservices, AWS ECS deployment, Elasticsearch
• Complex PowerBI dashboards, AWS architecture (VPC, RDS, Lambdas), Streamlit apps with AI voice/image processing
• Building intelligent AI Agents
• Plus, whatever exciting challenge comes through our door next week (they are very frequent)

Must-have skills

• Python (mandatory - you'll live in it)
• Data Science fundamentals - ML models, libraries, the classics
• SQL (because databases exist)
• AI/LLM experience - OpenAI APIs (or any other), prompt engineering, model integration
• AWS basics - at least comfortable with core services
• API development - FastAPI experience preferred

Nice-to-have (but we'll love you for it)

• DevOps/MLOps experience
• Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Time-Series Databases
• Other cloud providers (though AWS is our main squeeze)
• Streamlit, PowerBI, Grafana
• Full-stack Python development
