Data Solutions Architect
As a Data Solutions Architect, you will be a key part of NLB Group’s future success in the field of data driven transformation.
Our data science teams typically consist of 4-6 people, with a wide range of experience levels and core competencies including data architecture, science, engineering, and translation. As a Data Solutions Architect you will work closely with data scientists and engineers in a sprint based agile environment, allowing you to collaborate with your peers both in Belgrade and Ljubljana.
Our technology stack is based on IBM Watson platform for advanced analytics and data science, relying on several state-of-the-art technologies like: Hadoop, Apache Spark, Python (Jupyter) / R. This stack is used for building advanced analytics and predictive models covering all major banking domains and exposing them within batch and real-time processing scenarios.
What will you do In your new role?

- Translate business requirements into data architectures that align models, strategy, standards, and industry best practices
- Identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements including the facilitation of workshops to collect business requirements
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions
- Work with all team leads to design, build and implement complex solutions
- Own and maintain the conceptual and logical data models for the organisation
- Understand and promote the benefits of data lifecycle management and treating data as an asset.
- Work on setting up a multi-year roadmap while respecting architecture standards
- Contributing to the data aspects of architecture blueprints
What do you need to be successful in this position?

- Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions both from application and business standpoint
- Experience in designing and implementing complex IT software solutions
- Experience working on data architectures and models in complex enterirpse environments
- Demonstrable knowledge of modern data driven transformation concepts and technologies (i.e. Big data / Data Lake / DWH, streaming / stream processing, SOA / microservices architectures, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects in the same time
