We’re looking for a Design Systems Designer to help shape our design system.
You’ll be responsible for creating the foundational patterns, UI components, tools, and documentation that defines the foundation of our design system and empowers MetaMask teams for high-quality and consistent designs and code.
You will collaborate with designers and engineers across all of our products and platforms, including mobile (iOS, Android), extension, and Snaps products.

This designer will take ownership of design system across many important areas:
Design components, patterns, libraries, and systems that will allow product designers to focus on product-level problems and ship high-quality work efficiently and consistently
Maintain and build upon the existing design system/component library. Use the atomic system to design reusable atoms, molecules, organisms, and templates
Collaborate closely with product designers and UX/front-end engineers to develop and ship the system
Collaborate and communicate across multiple teams to align on components, patterns, and systems
Provide pixel-perfect static and interactive mockups
Define and provide design system principles, guidelines, and documentation of the design system and component library
What we are looking for:
2+ years of experience as a designer leading or contributing to a mature design system, including component design, documentation, and education.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates your work in design systems, interaction design, and product design.
Very high attention to detail. You care about pixel-perfection, consistency, and aim to set the bar high for the product and team.
Strong communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.
Advanced knowledge of the Figma tool and knowledge of other design system and prototyping tools, such as Storybook, Principle, Framer and Lottie.
Strong systems thinker. You see how all the parts fit together, and how small changes propagate throughout the system.
Experience in illustrations and iconography design
