We are looking for a candidate to fill the position of Email Analyst. You will be working remotely as a contractor to the Essence of Email company.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00—21:00 CET.
What Does the Email Analyst Do?
- Crafts coherent and insightful email metrics reports
- Systematically reviews all parts of clients’ email channel and assesses what is working well and what can be improved
- Advises clients on possible improvement areas on email-related design, content, copy, layout, email best practices, etc.
- Provides actionable steps to executing the advised email marketing strategy to reach client’s business goals and improve client satisfaction
- Extracts data from different software platforms used for email creation such as Klaviyo, JustUno, etc. and reorganizes them in a format that can be easily read and understood by the client
- Researches, gathers, and analyzes email marketing data
- Conducts monthly performance review calls, and joins calls on an ad hoc basis if email performance needs to be reviewed
- Creates various email metrics reports tailored according to the clients’ requirements
- Constantly researches best practices around email metrics
Required Profile:
- Near-native English (both written and spoken)
- Previous working experience as a Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst, or similar
- Previous working experience with various software platforms related to project management and digital marketing (such as Asana/Trello, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a sense of urgency to complete things as soon as possible
- A highly analytical and out-of-the-box thinker with an analytical approach to problem-solving
- Motivated by seeing tangible results and willing to go the extra mile to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded
- Comfortable being evaluated through KPIs
- Previous working experience in a position such as an Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager, or similar will be considered a plus
- Bachelor of Statistics and Mathematics will be considered as a plus
- Previous working experience in creating reports or data visualizations will be considered a plus
- Working experience in email marketing and knowledge of the field is a major plus
