We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our team in Serbia, ideally in Kragujevac. In your role, your main objective would be to develop features to enhance our users’ experience by striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design, employ a diverse selection of markup languages to design and structure our web pages and optimise them for best speed and scalability, build reusable code for future use and, while doing so, keep our brand language consistent.
You will:
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners and managers, back-end and other teams in an agile environment
- Join the current workflows, participate in the design process and task estimations, and advise on technical implementations
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Ensure responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility across devices/screen sizes
- Optimise existing code base, being rigorous about performance, bugs, etc.
- Support the team in maintaining and improving the development environment
Your skills:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Frontend developer
- Excellent knowledge of modern CSS, pixel-perfect and cross-browser design compatibility and responsive design
- Excellent understanding of front-end best practices, architecture patterns, and tooling for the complete development life cycle
- Experience working with JavaScript
- Experience with Git
- Knowledge of the Livewire and Tailwind is a plus
- Skills to navigate fast in large codebase, great troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage frontend projects including estimating, creating and describing tasks
- Knowledge about site optimization: speed, scalability, mobile, SEO principles
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to communicate effectively, listen actively, collaborate professionally and learn continuously
- Curiosity and proactiveness, engaged in the research of new technologies
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written: our team is distributed across the globe - we have developers in Switzerland, Chile, Namibia and Serbia
