Full Stack Python Web Developer

Metisox is sister company but candidates will be employed by a domestic company CCNet Scientific d.o.o. Novi Sad.

We are currently hiring a Full Stack Python Web Developer to join our engineering team to develop web-based software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Writing effective and scalable Python code
• Designing and implementing robust applications web applications
• Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic including queries to RDBMS and REST APIs
• Implementing security and data protection (authentication/authorization)

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience as a Python developer 
• Good knowledge of Flask or similar Python frameworks like e.g. Django
• Proven experience in web programming front-end technologies, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/HTML5, and CSS3, Frameworks like e.g. React or Angular
• Good knowledge of SQL and RDBMS (queries)
• Knowledge of REST API
• Development experience on Linux
• At least base knowledge GIT code version control system
• Willingness to learn and code in other scripting languages (Perl, Bash)   

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with various web authentication methods including OAuth and OpenID
• Knowledge of ORMs libraries/tools
• Familiarity with various testing frameworks and tools
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and Cloud-based services
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools/software like Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket
