Hana Cloud - Development Specialist for SF Incentive Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Development Specialist to join our Core Commissions team. Our team's focus is to lead the migration path for existing customers to the Cloud version of Commissions, supported by SAP HANA, with emphasis on Analytics, Data Management, and Hana Cloud. Your main responsibility will be delivering Commissions and its services on Hana Cloud, along with implementing performance improvements for our Pipeline. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our migration to the cloud and ensuring seamless interactions between different systems.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and supporting HANA Cloud migration
• Develop, test, and maintain efficient and reliable Java Spring backend services.
• Design and implement user-friendly and responsive Angular front-end pages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of data and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and application performance.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Ability to initiate, facilitate and operate independently in a matrix organization involving engineering and cloud operations.
• Very good English language skills - spoken and written, to be able to articulate Product requirements and systems design related collaboration in constructive and open style within team and customer-facing environments.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Java and experience with Spring framework.
• Strong expertise in front-end development using Angular.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP Hana, Hana Cloud).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience in build automation tools (e.g., Gradle).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Considered as a plus: 

• Experience with Hana Cloud and Performance Tuning.
• Knowledge of BTP (Business Technology Platform) technologies.
• Familiarity with Hana Cloud and data migration concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of data security and privacy best practices.

Task:

• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute the migration of the Commissions application on Hana Cloud. This involves analyzing the existing architecture, identifying dependencies, and implementing the necessary changes to ensure a smooth transition.
• Work closely with the Workflow team to facilitate the migration of Workflow services to Hana Cloud. Coordinate efforts to ensure that all components are correctly integrated, and functionalities are maintained throughout the migration process.
• Optimizing the performance of our Pipeline, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce processing times. This will involve conducting thorough performance analyses and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
