Who We’re Looking For

Yodo1 is looking for a talented and versatile Game Designer who possesses a strong background in economy design, level design, and statistical balancing for mobile games. The ideal candidate will contribute to both the macro and micro aspects of game design.

What We Expect

You will:

Design and prototype new game features, including level layouts, gameplay mechanics, and progression systems.
Develop innovative LiveOps features that seamlessly integrate and enhance the game's existing core loop and adhere to the established live game balance.
Apply your level design expertise to create engaging and varied levels that fit within the game’s world and narrative.
Conduct statistical analysis and balance in-game economies, character stats, and progression systems to ensure a fair and engaging experience for players.
Iterate on design aspects based on analytics, playtesting feedback, and team input.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design aspects into the game, including working with artists, programmers, and QA testers.
Document and communicate game design processes, decisions, and mechanics clearly and effectively.
Stay informed on mobile gaming trends and player preferences to inform design decisions.

You must have:

At least 3 years of experience in game design, including substantial experience with economy, level design, game mechanics, and balancing.
Strong portfolio showcasing your work on mobile games, with emphasis on economy, level design and statistical balancing.
Proficiency in game development tools and software, such as Unity, and scripting or programming related to game design.
Solid understanding of mobile gaming market dynamics and player expectations.
Analytical and mathematical skills; familiarity with data analytics tools and ability to interpret player data to inform design decisions.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt designs based on user feedback and data.
Deep passion for mobile games.
