We are offering the opportunity to join our company within Network and Security Projects team as IP Core Network Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Providing advanced support to the Network and Security engineering team with focus on IP/MPLS based services:
- Integration and maintenance of IP/MPLS network
- Configuration of routing and switching equipment
- Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting IP/MPLS network problems, remotely and on-site (L1-L3 technical support and case management with vendor)
- Optimizing network performance of upstream and peering connections
- Perform proactive analysis and investigations to determine potential network problems
- Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization
- Securing network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring network access
- Continuous work on improving the quality of network and network services
- Coordination with providers and vendors
- Participation in network security projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- Minimum three years of experience in IP network; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the stated minimum education and experience requirements
- Advanced knowledge of IP/MPLS network and services, including but not limited to:
- Integration and maintenance – MEM, IGW, CORE, N-PE, PE, CE, RR, BNG, SRX FW
- Configuration and troubleshooting – L3VPN, L2VPN, MPLS, MPLS-TE, RSVP, iBGP, eBGP, Multicast, VoIP, QoS, IPSec, FW zones
- Basic knowledge of
- Operating systems - Windows and Linux
- Configuration, integration, maintenance and troubleshooting of various enterprise networks – GRE, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, Cellular, Stack
- Certification
- CCNA, obligatory
- CCNP Routing & Switching, preferred
- HCNP-R&S or higher, preferred
- JNCIA Junos or higher, preferred
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Team spirit and ability to work independent if needed
- Driving License B category
