IT Pre-sales Technical Engineer/ Consultant

Job Description

We are interested in hiring highly motivated and knowledgeable IT Technical Engineer with more than 3 years of experience in IT industry and experience in successful implementations of complex IT solutions. We are looking for an ambitious person to provide pre-sales technical support to clients by identifying the customers requirements and designing a commercially viable solution from within the company’s product portfolio. Good candidate should have excellent communication and presentations skills and the ability to show initiative and a competitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• To work closely with the sales team in the area of product suitability and service delivery expectations
• To articulate (through written submissions and presentations) solutions to both technical and non-technical customers
• To conduct technical presentations of specific solutions and our portfolio, to clients and on IT events
• Support sales efforts with in-depth product and business knowledge
• To maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s products and service offerings and methodologies
• To work with the product development teams to capture new customer requirements and develop and expand the product portfolio
• To work with the post-sales team in handing over pre-sales efforts and ensuring Customer satisfaction
• Constant leverage of technical skills through trainings and research
• Constant market research for new ideas and solutions
• Represent the company in a professional manner and build good relationships with clients to the company’s benefit

Requirements

• Proven track record in a pre-sales environment within an IT / software solutions business
• Experience in design and implementation of cross-domain projects involving networking, security, middleware and applications
• Understanding of Hybrid and Cloud infrastructure architecture
• Technically skilled with a customer focused mind and excellent communication skills
• Experience in developing and delivering effective presentations
• Ability to work independently and to be proactive
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Product certification, engineering credential, or equivalent technical credential is an advantage
• Drivers licence and willingness to travel through sales territory
