Microsoft Digital organization has a great opportunity to contribute building the future of Microsoft in Serbia, by helping to successfully deliver office related projects (construction and decommissions) in Belgrade. The IT Resource is the field IT person help delivering the foundational services that keep Microsoft locations connected in close partnership and full alignment with the IT manager including:
- Proactively participating in all project planning and preparation calls and activities
- Collaborating with local and remote project stakeholders and teams, representing Global Support and the IT manager in each discussion
- Support (Smart hands) deploying, testing, operating, maintaining and decommissioning IT services, like networking, telecommunication and AV (meeting rooms) in partnership with remote Technology Experts
- Monitoring and escorting IT external parties during their site visits to network/server/cable rooms
- Support IT Manager in local Incident and Escalation troubleshooting and support for corporate services functions
- Support IT Manager and project team in checking the status and the progress of the projects, testing/verifying the quality and the quantity of deliveries, signing off/handing over/certifying successfully completed components
- Support documenting and reporting changes, learnings and findings for/to the IT manager and the project team
Preferred Skills and Qualification
- Proven experience with IT infrastructure: networking, telecommunications and Audio Video (AV) – no network programming or configuration knowledge is required
- Optionally experience with network cabling, patching, electricity (UPS, diesel generator) and security
- Proven project, office project and infrastructure deployment experience – no project management certification (PMI, PMP, Agile,…) is needed
- Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate to all local and remote stakeholders and vendors
- Fluent in written and oral English language
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and respond to unplanned demand
- High emphasis and focus on Customer Satisfaction
- Proven ability to work individually as well as under remote supervision
