Position summary and purpose:
Responsible for managing multiple facets of several on-going, highly visible projects simultaneously. Gather, evaluate, and analyze data; monitor trends; prepare reports, and present recommendations working individually or within team.
Provide support to IT Management team to support achievement of Company and Client goals
Essential Functions & Duties:
- Manage multiple IT Global projects in support of various initiatives
- Identification of possible issues and finding the best solution
- Making of recommendations to Senior Management and implementing recommendations
- Create, maintain and deliver management reports including current project status, forecasted versus actual expenses and cost benefit analysis of new initiatives.
- Suggestions for cost savings and process improvements, including alternative solutions that will positively impact profitability and/or client, customer, or associate satisfaction.
- Make critical decision regarding project plans and take ownership of project tasks
Essential knowledge, qualifications & experience:
- BA degree in a business related field or equivalent in experience
- 5 to 8 years of industry related experience including project management experience
- Ability to demonstrate strong understanding of general business management, basic accounting and work processes
- Strong understanding of the industry and demonstrated ability to maintain and manage sensitive data
- Excellent project management skills, facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a cross-function team
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead and make informed and data based decisions
- Ability for logical problem resolution within the guidelines of the project parameters
- Excellent technical skills (MS Office), SmartSheet experience will be considered as a plus
- PMP, CAPM certification will be considered as a plus
