For our new plant in Niš/Serbia we are looking for IT System Engineer.
Job Overview
Support our users and local / central applications. Provide guidance and training to end user as needed and create documentation for existing IT infrastructure processes /software and standards and ICT Lifecycle management.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support to our end users in the plant Niš /Serbia
- Participating in the IT projects, tasks on global IT scope locally and remotely.
- Life cycling management (End User device).
- Monitor, coordinate, and escalate the resolution of IT outages with external vendors and internal teams
- Follow up with users and help desk team to ensure problems were resolved successfully
- Make sure that location is following the standards for equipment (Desktops, Laptops, Printers)
- To support and assist other IT members.
- Support new hardware and software deployment.
- Research patches, updates and solutions for computer issues, both hardware and software related.
- Refers unresolved problems Regional ICT Manager for resolution and escalation.
- Inform the Regional ICT Manager about any necessary actions in the local or central environment to provide a better quality of service.
Requirements:
- Experience with WANs \ LANs (TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, Firewalling).
- Experience with Windows desktop (10 or higher) and Windows servers (Active directory / DNS / DHCP / Print Server);
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with remote desktops.
- Good troubleshooting / problem resolution skills, including ability to undertake fault diagnosis in a structured and self-sufficient manner
- English spoken and written is mandatory, German knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication skills are a mandatory requirement
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently with or without direct supervision
- Project Management \ ITIL \ Microsoft Office 365 or Azure Certification is a plus.
Education:
- In progress or completed associates degree in Computer Information Systems / Network Management or related field
