Overview
This role would be an Individual contributor role within the UI/UX Illustration function. This individual would be responsible to produces visual assets for gamification features and player-facing UI components & work within defined creative direction, design systems, and product specifications.
Responsibilities
- Create 2D illustration assets for gamification features (jackpots, leaderboards, missions, mini-games, promotions).
- Produce fast concept mock-ups and iterate based on product, UX, and creative feedback.
- Deliver final, production-ready assets optimized for UI integration and animation.
- Prepare illustration files for smooth handover to animation and front-end teams.
- Integrate assets into internal layouting / composition tools where required.
- Maintain visual consistency with existing design systems and brand guidelines.
- Adapt assets for different formats, resolutions, and use cases across products.
- Deliver work within agreed timelines and sprint commitments.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Solid understanding of composition, color, lighting, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to translate product specs and UX flows into clear visual assets.
- Ability to work within established visual styles and constraints.
Required Experience
- Professional experience as a digital illustrator in product, UI/UX, or games.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (UX, animation, front-end).
- Portfolio demonstrating production-ready illustration work (gaming or gamification preferred).
Collaboration & Process
- Works closely with the Creative Director, UI/UX designers, animators, and front-end developers.
- Follows established asset pipelines, naming conventions, and handover standards.
- Accepts direction and feedback from senior creatives and product stakeholders.
- Operates effectively in an agile, delivery-driven environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in iGaming, online casino, social or casual games.
- Familiarity with gamification systems and mechanics.
