When it comes to Embedded Systems, this is a discipline with 50+ years tradition in Zuhlke. We are working in fields of Medical, Industrial, Railway and consumer IoT. On various platforms and ecosystems. From bare-metal C firmware, to modern C++ applications running on Linux systems – and everything in between.
What matters to us?
Ideally, when starting the internship, you have already obtained the BSc degree on one of technical faculties - ETF, MATF, FTN, ELFAK. Alternatively, you could start some weeks before obtaining the BSc degree.
You have always been interested in how things work, gained initial practical experiences in embedded systems development and now you have desire to dive deeper into the area.
As for technical expertise, you are familiar with:
- development in C/C++
- operating systems foundations, Linux or RTOS experience (considered a plus)
- OOAD basics (UML)
- communication protocols (considered a plus), e.g. I2C, UART, CAN, SPI
- Agile mindset
- fluency in English both written and spoken
