We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.
What will you do?
- Build frontend applications with frontend development best practices;
- Transform app designs into frontend code with HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design;
- Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations;
- Learn how to write high-quality, scalable and reusable code;
- Actively keeps current on industry trends, actively improves, and acquires new skills.
What skills do you need?
- Graduate degree or senior year students from Technical Faculty, preferably ETF, RAF, FON, FTN and Faculty of Mathematics;
- Understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds;
- Understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3;
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX;
- Familiarity with frontend build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js;
- Familiarity with code versioning tools;
- Understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as VueJS, ReactJS, etc will be considered as a plus;
- 1+ year of frontend development experience will be considered as a plus.

Provela sam u kompaniji 2 godine. Kao početniku, Tyllo je definitvno bio sjajna odskočna daska za dalje i sve u svemu jako lepo iskustvo. Radila sam na super interesantnom projektu, u pitanju je popularna striming platforma koja se reklamira svuda po zemlji i regionu, dodatno smo, u okviru benefita u firmi, mi sami mogli privatno da koristimo tu platformu besplatno što je definitvno doprinelo uživanju kako u radu tako i u korišćenju iste kao krajnji korisnik. Ekipa sa kojom sam radila su isto sjajni ljudi, neguje se dobra i prijateljska atmosfera. Generalno praktikuju hibridni režim rada, sve zavisi od tima i tim menadžera posebno, neki dolaze 2 puta nedeljno, neki tri, neki jednom mesečno :)
Zamerke
Lokacija baš i nije najbolja, firma se nalazi na donjem Dorćolu, a parking mesta nisu obezbeđena. Nažalost, usled promene vlasničke strukture klijentske firme, u Tyllo su se poslednjih meseci znantno pogoršali uslovi. Zbog promena kod klijenta, pritisak na Tyllo je porastao, pojavili su se nerazumni zahtevi prema developerima, od strane menadžmenta, i našeg i klijentskog, koji dodira sa kodom nema, što je dovelo do niza apsurdnih i neprijatnih situacija koje su rezultirale odlaskom većeg broja developera iz firme, što svojevoljno što prinudno i ogromnim padom motivacije kod onih koji ostaju. Pojava mikromenadžmenta, nemogućnost da ti sam kao developer ostaviš feedback menadžeru bez osećaja krivice, a takođe i apsurdne prakse tim menadžera prema ljudima iz svog tima (selektivna pravila, nekima se gledalo u minut kad su došli i kad su otišli iz firme, dok drugima reč nije smela da se kaže, od nekih je traženo da dolaze svaki dan u firmu bez razloga, dok su drugi mogli da ostanu u hibridnom režimu) i aposlutno ignorisanje njihovih mišljenja i potreba, na kraju je ostavilo ne baš prijatan utisak o kompaniji koja je imala ogroman potencijal pre 2 godine. Naravno, ovo srozavanje kompanije prati i odsustvo povišica i nekog daljeg napredovanja. Sve u svemu, za juniore bez iskustva firma možda i ima potencijal, ostali neka razmisle i neka se dobro raspitaju.
