Lead Software Engineer

cognee is an open-source software (OSS) framework that processes, stores and generates semantic layers above vector and graph stores (GraphRAGs). 

We are a VC funded startup established by Serbian founders. We would love to expand the team with the talent from Serbia

We aim to automate data storage, enrichment and personalisation for LLM in-context learning. Our company is located in the US and has a German subsidiary, for which we are currently hiring for. We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy cognee in production with our clients
• Oversee the machine learning lifecycle from data collection to deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to integrate solutions.
• Stay updated with advancements in machine learning and data science.
• Develop and maintain documentation and engage with the open-source community.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer with a strong project track record.
• Expertise with tools like Docker, Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience in deploying applications in production
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
