Licence Manager Assistant
We are expanding our team and are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Licence Manager Assistant to provide support to an international client.
The position involves managing software licenses, handling user requests, maintaining records, and providing basic user support related to software usage and compliance. The role includes hybrid working, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 CET.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and process software license requests in line with established procedures
- Check license availability and assign licenses to users, devices, or servers
- Maintain and update software lifecycle data in the SAM system (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Assist in the renewal of software maintenance and license contracts
- Respond to user inquiries and incidents related to software licenses (1st-level support)
- Support and document activities during software vendor audits
- Ensure all actions are accurately tracked and documented in the SAM tool
- Analyzing software usage to identify over-licensing or under-licensing
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) – daily communication is in English
- Experience in software asset management, IT administration, or service desk support (handling and progressing tickets)
- Experience with SAM tools like ServiceNow is a strong plus
- Basic IT skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a structured, remote environment
