ML/Natural Language Processing Engineer
Belgrade
At AutomaticCRM, a ML/NLP engineer will use state of the art natural language parsing and machine learning techniques to extract actionable data from email and other user communications.
Basic Qualifications
- Self-motivated, eager to learn and research; driven to find the best solutions on their own using exploration and experimentation
- Strong analytical mindset, able to break problems down, clearly diagnose issues and present clear options
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related technical discipline
- 6+ years experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions
- 6+ years experience programming experience in Python, Go or TypeScript
- 6+ years experience using SQL to extract data and answer business questions
- Experience developing leveraging cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with modern software development practices like git, code reviews, continuous automation and continuous delivery
- Experience developing and designing consumer-facing data intensive products
Responsibilities
- Develop tools to extract structured content, classify documents, and establish sentiment out of emails and interpersonal communications
- Devise methods for de-identifying text content to preserve users’ privacy during annotations
- Develop services that plug into the AutomaticCRM data ingestion pipeline to efficiently process text data at large scale
- Devise strategies for data labeling, data management, accumulation of training and test data sets
- Develop production ready-systems hosted in the cloud
- Leverage tools available by cloud service providers to create, validate, refine and operate models
Skills
- Expert in NLP tools and libraries including, but not limited to, NLTK and Spacy
- Expert at using deep learning techniques to solve natural language parsing problems
- Very comfortable surveying research and evaluating multiple techniques to identify the optimal solution
- Experience deploying ML systems in production cloud environments at large scale
- Expert at Python and leading Python machine learning libraries
- Hands on experience with RedShift and Map Reduce
- Develop tools for assessing quality and coverage metrics of data sources
- Expert at SQL for import, query and transformation
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Mode Analytics
