Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a QA Medior Engineer in our team, your focus will be on ensuring the stability and quality of our products through the following activities:

• Test Documentation Creation: Writing, maintaining, and updating Test Cases, checklists, and test plans based on technical and functional documentation.
• Manual Testing: Performing various types of testing (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Ad-hoc) across Web and Mobile platforms.
• Automated Web Testing: Writing and maintaining fundamental automated test scripts, focusing on End-to-End (E2E) and Integration tests using Cypress.
• Bug Reporting and Tracking: Detailed documentation of identified defects in tools like Jira (including reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, and attaching logs/screenshots).
• API Testing: Verifying the integrity of communication between services using tools such as Postman.
• Collaboration with the Development Team: Close communication with developers and Product Owners to ensure faster resolution of critical issues and a better understanding of features.
• Participation in QA Processes: Monitoring the bug lifecycle and participating in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives).
• Requirements and Specification Analysis: Actively participating in the analysis of User Stories to identify potential logical flaws early on, before development begins.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Jira for managing the full bug lifecycle, organizing sprints, and maintaining clear traceability between requirements and test execution.
• Skilled in verifying backend services and RESTful APIs using Postman for request validation and Swagger for analyzing API specifications and endpoint testing.
• Expert use of browser DevTools to inspect DOM elements, analyze network traffic (XHR/Fetch), and identify front-end errors or performance issues.
• Skilled in Cypress-based automation, using JavaScript to create scalable and efficient test scripts for modern web applications

• Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a QA Engineering role, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.

• Strong Communication & Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with Developers and Product Owners to ensure clear understanding of requirements and rapid issue resolution.
• Analytical Thinking: Skilled in breaking down complex User Stories into clear, actionable test scenarios.
• Adaptability in Agile Environments: Active participation in Scrum meetings (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning) and commitment to the continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Solution-Focused Approach: Not just reporting bugs, but providing detailed logs and context to help the team fix them efficiently.
