The Role:
Intel 471 is looking for a technical, hands-on Mid-Senior Manual Tester QA to join our world-class team on a 12 month contract basis. The role is located in Europe on a remote basis.
The mission of Intel 471 is to protect your organization, your products, your assets and your people. We are building an actor-focused cyber threat intelligence SaaS product. From the customer perspective, we offer an online portal and API that allows them to consume, query, analyze and visualize multiple cyber threat intelligence information sources.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements/user stories using formal methodologies/techniques to identify gaps
- Create test cases to make sure acceptance criteria is covered
- Understand, design, create and execute functional and non-functional verifications
- Testing frontend, backend and data processing stages
- Investigate bottlenecks and define clear steps to reproduce issues. Log issues in the bug tracking system. Synchronize and clarify bug descriptions and assign the right severity to the respective software developers. Provide timely validation of fixed defects.
- Testing new features and bug fixes
- Conducting manual tests and investigating results
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of QA methodologies
- Prioritization, fast switching between tasks
- Ability to determine requirements, decompose complex tasks and requirements into atomic cases, experience in manual test cases design and execution
- Experience with NoSQL databases (Open Search, Elastic Search)
- Experience with Git, Docker and AWS cloud
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix, Kafka and other CICD automation tools
- Understanding of the client-server architecture
- Able to think outside the box, and open to learning and improving skills
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently in an agile environment
- Rest API Testing (Postman/Rest Assured) is a must
- Experience with web-testing applications
Nice to have:
- Programming/Scripting languages knowledge - Java or Javascript/Typescript as a plus
