The Network team within the STRABAG group provides 75,000 employees worldwide a secure, high-performance IT network. We operate and monitor more than 10,000 network components centrally at around 2,000 locations in over 50 countries. The portfolio ranges from small desktop switches and branch office firewalls to access points and data center network infrastructures, core switches, SDWAN environments and cloud connects. To further expand the availability of our network and to meet the requirements of modern network infrastructures, we are looking for motivated employees who support our network team actively and with passion. You will support us in the implementation and standardization of new services, plan and execute the rollout and test new technologies. You may also have touch points with virtual (or modern) network infrastructures of major cloud providers.

Your tasks:

• Troubleshooting of our network infrastructure (3rd level support)
• Administration and system maintenance of the network infrastructure incl. associated services
• 2nd level support as well as documentation
• Planning and execution of worldwide configuration adjustments
• Support in the implementation of modern network security systems
• Providing competent advice/support to our internal customers and IT departments (worldwide)

• Completed studies in computer science or comparable professional training, e.g., as an IT specialist in system integration
• Profound knowledge in TCP / IP networks as well as in the administration of network components and/or perimeter firewalls
• Experience in planning complex IT network structures
• Experience with network security systems (micro segmentation, Radius, NAC) would be a plus
• Experience with cloud networks (Azure) is desirable
• German and English language skills, both written and spoken 
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as customer and service orientation
