Location: Čačak, Serbia

Are you ready to shape the future of industrial connectivity? Join us as an OT Network Engineer and help build a future ready OT network. You will be part of the global Shared Competence Center of the PWO Group working hybrid model working.

As an OT Network Engineer, your role is instrumental in maintaining, enhancing, scaling and innovating the reliability and security of our intricate OT infrastructure. Furthermore with the OT network you are enabling new technology and applications in the IIOT platform.

Job Description:

• OT Network Infrastructure: Taking a lead role in planning and designing the infrastructure within the OT and in managing our Siemens SCALANCE industrial network equipment. Further you will be overseeing and supporting the implementation globally to establish structures and standardization
• Firewall Expertise: Implementing and managing our FortiGate firewalls featuring Fortinet technologies, to fortify network security while building connectivity for business purposes. You'll proactively identify vulnerabilities, plan, implement, and configure OT-security solutions and tools
• IIOT platform operations: Enhance the OT network to ensure robust and real-time-capable acquisition of process data and video streams. Build a framework to efficiently process the data for many applications from incident analysis to AI deployment
• Service implementation and operation: Tailor solutions for new services to meet latest customer and business requirements
• Service Provider Communication and Engagement: Managing communication and engagement with service providers ensuring the seamless delivery of critical services

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this pivotal role, you should embody the following qualifications and qualities:

• Possession of a degree or relevant certification in the IT field
• 3-5 years of experience as network or IT field engineer including firewall configuration, switching and routing ideally in industrial environments. Furthermore proficiency in windows server, virtualization and Windows system management as well as first experience with data acquisition and IIOT platforms is beneficial
• Great problem-solving skills with a proactive inclination to identify and resolve network and security challenges
• Strong communication skills, enabling you to collaborate adeptly with diverse cross-functional teams and external partners
• Proficiency in English (B1) for seamless engagement in international projects and communication
