Role overview
We are seeking an Operations Manager for Commercial Solutions who is passionate about ensuring the stability and performance of our commercial systems. In this role, you will support the Functional Domain Lead for Commercial Solutions, monitor and maintain system stability, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with developers and QA teams. You will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence and effective issue resolution, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
What you will do
As a Operations Manager for Commercial Solutions, your responsibilities will include:
- System Monitoring & Stability: Ensure commercial systems are stable, continuously monitored, and running as expected.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication with key stakeholders.
- Coordination with QA: Work closely with the QA team to coordinate testing of relevant tickets, providing all necessary information for a successful QA phase.
- Backlog Management: Assist in the refinement and organization of the ticket backlog, ensuring tickets are ready for development.
- Feature Delivery: Take ownership of smaller solutions and features, managing the full delivery lifecycle from requirements gathering to development, testing, and go-live.
What you should bring
To be successful in this role, you should have the following competencies:
- Technical Background: Experience in a technical role (developer or tester) with knowledge of web services and APIs.
- Operational Experience: Understanding of system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams distributed across multiple locations and cultures.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong situational awareness and conflict resolution abilities.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills to keep stakeholders informed.
