Part-Time Cloud Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to operate and evolve the AWS landing zone that serves as the foundation for our entire migration. You will enable the migration teams by providing a robust, automated, and secure platform. In this role, you will manage shared infrastructure services—including networking, logging, and IAM—ensuring they meet the "platform book" standards. You will drive platform automation and self-service capabilities, allowing migration teams to onboard workloads quickly while maintaining strict security and cost controls.

Location & Contract Type

Location: Remote position open to candidates in the Europe.

Contract Type: This position is open for candidates interested in Business-to-Business (B2B) contract position in countries in Europe. Please note this is a contract role for approximately 3 years, part-time.

What Will You Do?

• Operate and continuously evolve the existing AWS landing zone and multi-account platform.
• Run shared infrastructure services (networking, logging, monitoring, IAM) according to platform standards.
• Collaborate with security teams to embed controls at the platform level.
• Support cost management and optimization across accounts.
• Drive platform automation and self-service capabilities for migration teams.

What You Bring

• 5+ years in cloud platform or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
• Experience with AWS multi-account architectures and landing zone patterns.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Strong security and compliance awareness, along with cost optimization practices.
• Understanding of the OS and VMware stack used by migrated workloads.
