We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to orchestrate the delivery of our AWS migration initiatives. You will be the organizational hub ensuring that projects stay on track, on budget, and within scope.

Your assignment will be matched to your strengths in one of two areas:

  1. Mass Migration: Managing a high-volume backlog where velocity, process efficiency, and KPI tracking are paramount.
  2. Complex Modernization: Managing high-stakes projects for Tier 1 banking systems, involving rigorous audit requirements, complex dependencies, and executive stakeholder management.

Location & Contract Type

Location: Remote position open to candidates in the Europe.

Contract Type: This position is open for candidates interested in Business-to-Business (B2B) contract position in countries in Europe. Please note this is a contract role for approximately 3 years, part-time.

What Will You Do?

  • Own delivery management for your stream, coordinating planning, scope, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, from technical teams to business owners and steering groups.
  • For Mass Migration: Track risks and issues related to velocity and throughput; ensure accurate KPI reporting.
  • For Modernization: Facilitate design sessions, manage complex decision logs, and coordinate go-live/cutover planning for critical systems.
  • Support change management and ensure all regulatory/audit documentation is consolidated and accurate.

What You Bring 

  • 5+ years in IT project management, specifically with experience in cloud or infrastructure transformation projects.
  • Strong experience managing distributed technical teams and communicating with business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cloud migration concepts (VMware to AWS).
  • For Modernization focus: Experience in Financial Services and complex, multi-team delivery is highly preferred.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is an advantage.
