The Role

We’re looking for a Presentation Designer who can own the end-to-end creation of professional business presentations—from researching the underlying business framework, to structuring the narrative, to designing every slide with precision and visual impact.

This is not a role where you’ll be dropping text into pre-made layouts. You’ll be expected to understand business concepts deeply enough to organize them into a compelling story, and then design slides that make complex information intuitive and visually engaging. Our audience includes executives, consultants, and strategists at the world’s top companies—the bar for quality is high.

What You’ll Do

• Research and analyze business frameworks, strategies, and methodologies from reputable sources (Harvard Business Review, McKinsey, leading academic institutions, and industry publications).
• Translate complex business concepts into clear, structured presentation narratives with logical flow and visual hierarchy.
• Design polished, premium-quality slides with sophisticated layouts, custom diagrams, infographics, charts, and data visualizations that go far beyond bullet points.
• Build and deliver complete presentation decks (typically 30–60 slides) across three formats: Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Apple Keynote.
• Create ready-made animations and transitions that enhance comprehension without being distracting.
• Maintain and evolve the You Exec visual identity across all templates—ensuring consistency in typography, color systems, iconography, and layout patterns.
• Collaborate with remote team members including designers, developers and managers across multiple time zones to coordinate releases and align on content strategy.
• Stay current with emerging business practices and identify frameworks that would benefit from high-quality visual presentation

What We’re Looking For

Design Skills

• Strong visual design sensibility with a portfolio that demonstrates sophisticated layout, typography, and data visualization work.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (master slides, custom animations, morph transitions, precise object alignment, and complex diagram construction). Candidates with strong design fundamentals who are eager to deepen their PowerPoint expertise will also be considered.
• Working knowledge of Google Slides and Apple Keynote, or willingness to learn platform-specific capabilities and constraints.
• Ability to create complex visual frameworks—process flows, matrices, comparison charts, layered diagrams, and infographic-style layouts—that make abstract business concepts tangible.
• Understanding of presentation design principles: visual hierarchy, whitespace, color theory, and information density management.

Research and Communication

• Fluent English proficiency—both written and spoken. You’ll write slide content, collaborate in English daily, and need to synthesize English-language business research.
• Ability to independently research business frameworks, extract the essential concepts, and structure them into a clear, logical presentation narrative.
• Strong written communication skills—the text on every slide needs to be concise, precise, and professionally written.
• Intellectual curiosity about business strategy, management, technology, and operations.

Work Style

• Comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule and deliverables without constant supervision.
• Effective asynchronous communicator who can collaborate with a distributed team of designers, developers and managers.
• Detail-oriented and quality-driven—every pixel, alignment, and word choice matters at our scale.
• Able to handle a consistent production cadence (weekly releases) while maintaining a high quality standard.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite for supplementary design work.
• Familiarity with business strategy concepts (Porter’s Five Forces, Balanced Scorecard, OKRs, etc.) from professional experience or education.
• Background in management consulting, business analysis, or a related field.
• Experience creating presentation templates at scale or for commercial distribution.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted design tools and workflows (example Claude Cowork).
