Product Manager (Content Delivery and Security)
As a Product Manager (Content Delivery and Security) at bunny.net - The Content Delivery platform that truly Hops!, you will spearhead the development and management of the Bunny CDN, DNS, and Shield product lines. You will work closely with engineering, marketing, leadership, and customer-facing teams to build and refine these products, ensuring they align with our mission and deliver exceptional value to our customers. This role will involve overseeing the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing management.
What will you do?
- Craft and Continuously Improve Product Visions: Develop and refine the product visions for Bunny CDN, DNS, and Security products. Ensure alignment with market needs and the broader bunny.net - The Content Delivery platform that truly Hops! platform.
- Oversee Product Development and Management Lifecycle: Manage the entire lifecycle of the products, from ideation through launch and ongoing iteration. Focus on infrastructure, engineering, processes, and overall reliability.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: Drive innovation by staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies. Develop cutting-edge solutions to meet existing and future market needs.
- Pursue Industry-Defining Customer Experiences: Work tirelessly to exceed customer expectations, delivering products that set new standards in performance, security, and reliability.
- Set and Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Define and track KPIs to measure product success. Use these metrics to drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Set Ambitious, Measurable Goals: Establish and pursue goals that push the boundaries of what’s possible, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with Customer Support: Provide product support and gather customer feedback to continually refine and improve the CDN, DNS, and Security products.
- Develop and Maintain Comprehensive Product Documentation: Contribute to customer knowledge resources by maintaining thorough and accurate product documentation.
What will you add?
- Proven Track Record: A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a strong background in CDN, DNS, and Security services. A proven track record of leading successful products in these areas is essential.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Experience in a startup or high-growth environment, with the ability to take initiative and drive projects to completion.
- Exceptional Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate team members, fostering collaboration across teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical, especially in articulating complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to align the CDN, DNS, and Security product lines with the broader company vision, ensuring they contribute to overall business goals.
- Deep Understanding of Networking and Security Technologies: Extensive knowledge of CDN, DNS, and security technologies, including anycast, DNSSEC, DDoS mitigation, bot management, web application firewalls, SSL, and reverse proxies.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of making data-driven decisions and developing strategic solutions to complex challenges.
- Experience in Setting and Managing KPIs and OKRs: Demonstrated ability to establish and manage product KPIs and OKRs that align with broader business objectives and drive customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency with Jira and Atlassian Tooling: Hands-on experience using Jira and other Atlassian tools for product management and collaboration.
- Excellent Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner to varied audiences.
