- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Electrical/ Computer Engineering or similar discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in project management for software projects within a matrix organization in a multi-function team
- Agile/SCRUM Certification and demonstrated rigor in project management best practices
- Experience with remote project management and/or virtual project teams
- Experience in managing multiple projects in parallel
- Pro-active, independent, and thorough working method, as well as the ability to confidently interact on senior management level
- In-depth knowledge of high-level software architecture principles
- Good proven multicultural influencing, diplomatic, change management and consulting skills with a commercial attitude
- Ability to understand technical and business needs and discuss solutions with both business and development teams.
- Experience with conflict management / escalation management
- Strong written and verbal English communications skills. German language skills is a plus
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Willingness to travel
- Define technical project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans
- Manage project initiation activities, which include the identification of contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situations, and necessary contacts. Gain access to existing information as needed
- Create the resource plan, project schedule and provide regular project updates both internally and to respective stakeholders
- Transform the business requirements into technical requirements documents (Requirements Engineering)
- Lead requirements gathering activities, ensuring you and the user/business community both agree on what it is you plan to deliver. Regular grooming of the backlog to ensure appropriate level of detail is captured at the right time
- Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; and leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
- Ensure cross-team coordination by assigning and monitor work of project team, providing technical and analytical support and direction
- Planning and facilitation of the various agile meetings and artefacts, including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, daily standups
- Interface with clients on technical matters as needed
- Primary contact point, managing stakeholder expectations for project deliverables and communications, maintaining maximum customer satisfaction
- Conduct project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation, and ongoing activities. This includes completing a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement
- Ensure service delivery success and customer satisfaction through effective project management
- Develop customer relationships and aids in identifying additional sales opportunities
- Work closely with the product development teams to deliver solutions in an agile environment
