The Project Manager is accountable for maximizing the successful delivery of projects for clients. This includes planning, tracking, adjusting, reporting status/issues/risks, managing scope and client expectations. This role will be the central coordination point between the our Leadership Team, Client Leadership Teams, and Consultant Teams, all of which could be remote. It’s possible that this role will be engaged with more than one client project at a time. It’ll be important to be able to pick-up a project at any stage in its life cycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in managing complex projects at a client or within a large organization.
- Ability to design plans with detailed assumptions and risk mitigation tactics.
- Ability to identify necessary skills and project resources, assess gaps within a team, and develop strategies to remediate gaps.
- Ability to quickly assess and intervene in project process.
- Ability to design project governance.
- Ability to utilize both top-down and bottom-up planning and estimating strategies.
- Ability to communicate messages that are potentially difficult to receive.
- Ability to present status to Executive Management.
- Experience working with Project Management Software Tools and Collaboration Tools.
- Superior spoken and written skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading a software implementation
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall Methodologies of Development
- Understanding of Quality Assurance Best Practices and QA Automation Tools
- Insurance experience preferred but not mandatory.
- P&C Insurance experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Worked within a project process that utilizes Jira or like software as the ticketing platform.
