Job Description

As a Prompt Engineer within the Eng Modernize Business Line of the ENG DIGITAL division, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into precise, technical specifications. You will work in a dynamic environment that values reliability, initiative, and collaboration, while leveraging generative AI tools to optimize software delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and create detailed feature descriptions, following INVEST principles (Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimable, Small, Testable)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and effective translation of needs into technical specifications
• Develop clear and detailed functional and technical documentation to guide development teams throughout the software lifecycle
• Utilize generative AI tools to improve quality and efficiency in software delivery, ensuring compliance with required standards
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product managers) to ensure cohesive project delivery
• Participate in design and code reviews to maintain adherence to best practices and standards

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience writing functional analyses in software development environments
• Experience in breaking down complex business requirements into actionable tasks aligned with INVEST principles
• Proficiency in using generative AI tools and integrating them into development workflows
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of the Italian language is considered an asset
