What would be your job, you ask?
- Being involved in every aspect of the product development process from the initial concept of the next feature or product through its launch and any iteration.
- Collaborating with product and engineering colleagues in the creation of elegant and intuitive solutions that transform typically complex and antiquated insurance purchase and management workflows.
- Implement well-designed, testable, and efficient Pythons code
- Solve technical problems of medium scope and complexity
- Write understandable technical documentation
- Assist with analysis and estimation of client requirements
- Have regular and up-to-date reporting to the team lead, service delivery manager, and/or client, in accordance with a predetermined way of working
- Mentor less experienced developers and interns
- Assist recruitment team in performing technical interviews
You will stand out if you have
- 3+ years of proven Python programming experience
- Good knowledge of Django\Flask\FastAPI frameworks
- Experience with SQLAlchemy\DjangoORM
- Knowledge of writing and consuming REST services
- Experience in writing unit tests
- Curiosity about design patterns, SOLID and other programming concepts and principles
- Knowledge of SCM systems (Git preferred)
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases is a plus
- Experience in working with cloud providers; AWS (preferred), Azure of GCP is a plus
- Familiarity with issue tracking systems (JIRA or others)
