Join Us: As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with development teams to design, implement, and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and manage software releases. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing processes and the coordination of release cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Design:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and cases aligned with software requirements and functional specifications.
- Leverage testing frameworks like NUnit, JUnit, and Robot Framework for automation and efficiency.
- Test Execution:
- Execute both manual and automated tests for web applications (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing on RESTful APIs to ensure they meet specified criteria.
- Defect Management:
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and validate defect fixes.
- Automation and Scripting:
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using languages like Python and C#.
- Test Java batch processing for data integrity and performance.
- Release Management:
- Coordinate with development and operations teams to manage and ensure the quality of software releases.
- Ensure that all releases undergo rigorous testing before deployment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency with NUnit for .NET unit testing and JUnit for Java applications.
- Strong understanding of web testing (UI/functional) and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with automation tools like Robot Framework and test scripting in Python, C#, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Java batch processing testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in this or a similar position.
- Good command of the English language.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
