As an SAP Integration Solution Architect at EPAM, you'll be a key player in pivotal SAP implementation projects, where your role as a Solution Architect will involve designing, evaluating, and documenting robust and scalable integration solutions for SAP and non-SAP systems. You will effectively collaborate with customers, advise on technical aspects during pre-sales activities, and promote best practices and continuous improvement throughout the project, all while building strong customer relationships and expanding your expertise in SAP and related systems.
What You’ll Do
- Play a pivotal role as a Solution Architect in large-scale SAP implementation projects
- Craft, assess, and meticulously document robust and scalable integration solutions, bridging the gap between SAP and non-SAP systems. Leverage a spectrum of technologies including SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, Kafka, and third-party integration services
- Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of architecture, security, and data standards, ensuring rigorous governance and compliance
- Engage in pre-sales activities as a technical consultant, sharing your expertise in the integration domain
- Cultivate enduring relationships with our valued customers, guiding them through solution presentations, and gathering non-functional requirements (NFRs)
- Operate with a focus on non-functional requirements and quality attributes, ensuring the delivery of top-notch solutions
- Estimate work efforts concerning integration development and technical architecture components
- Provide valuable insights on SAP CIO Guides (On-premises / Cloud / Hybrid), Integration Solution Advisory Methodology (ISA-M), Application Extension Methodology, and RISE with SAP
- Enforce best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project

What You Have
- Deep understanding of different Integration Styles and Use-Case Patterns, and corresponding solutions from SAP Portfolio (and other vendors)
- Experience as an Integration Solution Architect in sizable SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects
- Experience in designing system integration solutions within large and heterogeneous enterprise landscapes
- Solid foundation in Software Architecture, particularly in connection with system integration (EDA, SOA, messaging, EIP, etc.)
- Familiarity with Cloud Computing concepts
- Experience working with various APIs, data formats, protocols, and adapters (SOAP/REST via HTTP/OData/AS2/SFTP/AMQP/MQTT, etc.)
- Broad knowledge of different integration tools and platforms, along with the ability to design solutions using various technologies
- Proficiency in building solutions with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API Management, Open Connectors, etc.)
- Competency in one or more programming languages such as ABAP, Java, Groovy, JavaScript (Node.js, TypeScript)
- High-level understanding of several SAP products' capabilities, functionality, and technologies
- Understanding of SAP Integration Solution Advisory Methodology and agile delivery methodologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, coupled with a willingness to engage effectively with customers
Nice to have
- Ability to identify solution gaps and formulate strategies to close them
- Understanding of one or more business domains
- Hands-on experience with one of the cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Certifications from SAP or other relevant vendors
- Capability to present SAP features and innovations tailored to meet potential customer needs
