Security Engineer (remote Europe)

 Reporting directly to the Head of Security, you will be designing and implementing security measures and systems as a Security Engineer. Monitoring to ensure that the delivered cloud-based product and company environment is free from vulnerabilities. Mission-critical, long-term internal project. No meetings with clients are involved. 

About the position  

• Conducting research around IoC (Indicators of Compromise) and implementing proper monitoring
• Designing and applying technical security controls based on the business requirements and best practices
• Automation of repeatable tasks
• Digital forensics, threat intelligence, SIEM
• Daily operations

About You

• Good understanding of cloud-based solutions
• Knowledge of Python scripting, AWS, Linux, OSX, CICD, Go
• Understanding of DevSecOps concepts
• Basic system security knowledge (OSX and Linux)
• Ready to work in all remote team

Nice to have:

• Understanding of AWS services
• Knowledge of security standards and frameworks
• Understanding of web application security concepts
• Security-related certificates, i.e. BTL
