Security Engineer

As a member of our team, you'll help protect enterprise software solutions, infrastructure, and business-critical processes that support organizations across various industries.

Working closely with development and infrastructure teams, you'll identify and mitigate security risks, strengthen security controls, investigate security incidents, and help maintain a secure and resilient technology environment.

This role focuses primarily on hands-on security engineering, security operations, and vulnerability management, providing exposure to modern security challenges across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

What You'll Be Working On

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments
• Monitoring security events, investigating incidents, and coordinating response and remediation activities
• Performing vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and technical risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats
• Managing and optimizing security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and access control solutions
• Supporting broader security initiatives and continuous improvement of security practices across the organization

Preferred Tech Stack

• Security monitoring, SIEM, and incident response tools
• IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and threat detection solutions
• Vulnerability assessment, security scanning, and dependency vulnerability analysis
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Cloud security services (Azure, AWS, or similar)
• Windows, Linux, networking, and infrastructure security
• Security automation tools

What You'll Bring to the Table

• 3+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or security engineering
• Hands-on experience across areas such as security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and security controls
• Familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM, endpoint protection, IAM, and vulnerability assessment tools
• Understanding of network, infrastructure, and cloud security concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

It's a Plus If You Have

• Experience with penetration testing, threat hunting, security testing, or security automation activities
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, AZ-500, or similar
