Senior Backend Developer - Banana Exchange Team

Our partner Banana Exchange, headquartered in New York and backed by a US hedge fund, is a Fintech company founded in 2017, that tries to solve one of the Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) industry's major barriers of growth - access to capital. The group comprises Banana Funding Group, a factoring company and Banana Exchange, an MCA portfolio risk assessment and management system. The company's mission is to help MCA funders grow by providing them with working capital and a marketplace that connects them with brokers and small businesses looking for credit. The belief is that helping the MCA industry will eventually allow more small businesses to receive credit and at better terms.

Together with our partner, we’re building a team and we are looking for a: Senior Backend Developer

who will be fully integrated with Banana Exchange's international team of engineers, and will be working on creating and maintaining platforms, providing full-lifecycle web development that includes understanding the clients’ needs, developing the websites and providing further support. 

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance web applications
• Develop and enhance frontend services and APIs
• Work with stakeholders on all aspects of product design and development

Your profile:

• You have 5+ years of commercial ASP.NET web application development
• You have good understanding of Typescript/Javascript
• You have good understanding of ASP.NET / ASP.CORE development
• You have experience with MS SQL server, .NET server code (C#)
• You have the ability to write clean and reusable code
• You have experience with Azure cloud and .NET multi-threaded server development
• You have a completed degree
• You are a team player
