Job Description

Your main task would be to keep our Cloud environment at GCP running as smoothly and robustly as possible. Other tasks include various automations and optimizations, all in service of enabling development teams to have faster and easier release cycles.

We use managed services such as Mongo Atlas and Elastic Cloud, when it makes sense, to reduce potential problems and manual maintenance.

We also have clients that require on-premise deployment so you need to be ready to step out of the box and adjust our current solution to the client’s infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has:

• Understanding what “DevOps” term really means: “DevOps is the combination of cultural philosophies, practices, and tools that increases an organization's ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity”; It is of utter importance to understand business needs, and less important to have worked with all the tooling.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Containers (Docker) and orchestration (K8s)
• Experience with GCP infrastructure (or alternatively AWS/Azure)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and process (Bitbucket pipelines or alternative)
• Experience with Helm and Argo CD
• Experience with monitoring and alerting
• Management of production environments with high uptime expectations
• Excellent troubleshooting skill

Experience with the following will be considered a big plus:

• Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
• Experience with managed services like Mongo Atlas and Elastic Cloud
