Job description

Are you a passionate frontend developer with a keen eye for creating exceptional web experiences? Come, Join our dynamic team of talented developers.

Brainstorm Force is currently building WordPress themes, plugins and SaaS applications. As a Frontend Developer, you will be working with a knowledgeable and dedicated team known for world-class products like Astra, Schema Pro, Convert Pro, Spectra, Ultimate Addons for Elementor, SureCart, SureTriggers, ZipWP and more.

What you will be doing

  • Build SaaS web applications and WordPress products
  • Be responsible for the frontend engineering with CSS and JavaScript frameworks
  • Working closely with product owners, backend developers, and designers
  • Follow design guidelines, best practices, and standards

What are the skills you must have:

  • Experience in JavaScript & React JS framework
  • Proficiency with ES6 and React (with reusable components).
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Semantic UI, along with SCSS.
  • Knowledge of API integration, including tools like Postman.
  • Strong expertise in semantic HTML5 and responsive cross-platform CSS.
  • Experience with automated testing (JEST) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Expertise and knowledge in UX design systems and processes
  • Extensive development, designing, and debugging skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail work with a good understanding of UI/UX principles
  • “Roll-up your sleeves” attitude to get things done
  • Good listener, communicator, and team player
  • Be able to work independently on a project-by-project basis and also work in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.

It will be great if you have knowledge of:

  • Familiarity with ReactJS Context API and Redux.
  • Understanding of the WPRest API and WPCLI.
  • Experience with Tailwind UI.
  • Comfortable configuring JavaScript build tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and WordPress Template Hierarchy.
  • Working & troubleshooting knowledge of PHP.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Knowledge of proper authentication practices and methodologies with cookie-based sessions, OAuth2, etc.
  • A keen eye for design aesthetics, including layout, grid systems, color theory, and typography.
  • Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
