Senior IT Business Analyst

Job summary

As a Senior IT Business Analyst at Ezderm, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business and technology by translating complex business and compliance requirements into clear, actionable solutions. You will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and documenting requirements, with a strong focus on compliance-related initiatives, regulatory deadlines, and process improvements. In close collaboration with the Product and Engineering team, also with stakeholders, you will help ensure that business needs are accurately
understood, prioritized, and transformed into high-quality documentation and user stories.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and problem-solving skills and a passion for driving business success through technology.

Responsibilities:

• Research, analyze, and understand compliance-related documentation, regulations, and business requirements;
• Translate compliance and business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation;
• Ensure understanding of compliance requirements, regulatory expectations, and related deadlines across projects;
• Learn and understand Ezderm applications, third-party integrations, business processes, and system workflows;
• Gather, analyze, and document user and business requirements;
• Extract and define use cases and business flows;
• Collaborate with clients, Product and Engineering teams to refine and improve requirements;
• Work closely with development teams to provide clarifications and support during implementation;
• Participate in requirement prioritization and effort estimation activities;
• Maintain clear and organized documentation in tools such as Jira and Confluence;
• Stay informed about industry trends, compliance standards, and best practices, proactively recommending process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field;
• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in IT environments;
• Experience working with compliance-related requirements and documentation;
• Knowledge of APIs system integrations, with an understanding of how interconnected platforms exchange data;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure;
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented mindset;
• Hands-on experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence on a daily basis.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in Agile environments and methodologies;
• Experience with Planning Poker and estimation practices;
• Familiarity with AI tools used for business analysis activities, including generating business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
